Dementia Action Alliance

Blackpool Fairness Commission wants people who live with dementia, their friends and their families to live well.



A local campaign has been set up with the support of the Fairness Commission to work towards gaining Fairtrade Town Status for Blackpool.


Loneliness and Social Isolation

We work with local communities and providers to identify what people can do personally and professionally to reduce loneliness.


Community Farm 

Blackpool Fairness Commission have identified an opportunity to develop a community farm in the heart of the local community.


Community Shop 

A working group has been set up to explore the feasibility of a community shop in areas of Blackpool to focus on reducing food poverty.

Welcome to the Blackpool Fairness Commission’s website.

I have been the Chairman of Blackpool Fairness Commission since the summer of 2013. I am often asked to Chair different groups and obviously I can’t agree to them all. I was very happy to take up the Chairmanship of Blackpool Fairness Commission however because I passionately believe in what we are trying to achieve – a fairer Blackpool for everyone, where people feel connected and supported to achieve their full potential.
